Just shot a campaign for The HUB in the studio over 4 days, which is for breast-feeding awareness. Another two to do yet - they have been very memorable and generated of press coverage which is good.
The Manchester Evening News are doing a page feature of the Oxfam/Recycled fashion images we have produced. Again, this should add some momentum to the projects and hopefully lead on to more things.
I have a good few ideas and locations in mind and just need the right clients to fulfill them.
I will post regular updates and hopefully links to the article as soon as I can.
Hi
Helen from The Hub here. We conceived of the campaign on behalf of our local Primary Care Trust and following very early, phenomenal success (3500 hits on blog in just 6 days with literally no exposure whatsoever), this has now been taken up by 7 other PCTs.
We’ve had requests on the blog for the campaign to be rolled out in US and Australia and are getting global, national and regional feedback daily.
When we conceived of the campaign, we wanted to increase exposure by working with real mums who are breastfeeding. These mums have no modelling experience and it was essential that we work with a photographer who would not only capture the essence of the person but also the strength, pride and beauty of a breastfeeding woman.
Having worked with Andy on a previous social marketing campaign in Manchester (engaging those on the margins of society with employers), we knew that he could achieve more than any other photographer on our rosta.
And, has he - the images are getting international recognition and we have many, many more shoots on this to come.
Thanks also to Melanie Bertani (stylist) and Andrea Perry Bevan (fabulous hair and makeup artist)
